I am excited to share that I will be serving at the University of Nebraska Kearny alongside my incredible teammates!

My Story

I am deeply thankful for my parents, who provided me with an example of living out the Catholic faith throughout my life. Our family would pray together, attend mass weekly, and strive to deepen our spiritual lives. However, as I matured, I did not prioritize my faith. I gradually drifted away from the Church’s teachings, allowing myself to be influenced instead by the culture and a secular lifestyle. This left me with confusion in my identity, feeling empty, lost, and overwhelmed.

However, Jesus began to radically transform my heart towards the end of high school and leading into my time at the University of Mary. During my time in college, I was blessed with beautiful friendships, mentors, professors, and people who Jesus used to bless my life abundantly. I was invited into a bible study at the beginning of my freshman year by a woman who slowly became a dear friend and mentor of mine. In this bible study I came to encounter a community of joyful and faithful women. Through this bible study and the friendships formed with these women, God revealed to me my identity as His beloved-daughter and instilled in my heart a desire to know Him more deeply. Throughout the past few years, I grew to come to know Jesus personally, and experienced the gift of beautiful friendships grounded in Him.

My life has truly been changed, and I desire nothing more than to share His love and goodness with others. Jesus has called me to serve as a focus missionary and give my life away to the service of others, accompanying students on their journey of faith throughout college. I desire for every person to know they are deeply known and loved, and to live in the truth of that love. College is such a unique, important, and formative time in an individual’s life. It is a time where a person can have a skewed identity, and loss of dignity. I hope to encounter individuals in college and draw them into friendship, and into relationship with Christ to restore their hearts. I pray that through my “yes” to serve as a focus missionary, Jesus uses me to aid students in becoming individuals who love Jesus and grow in desire to serve His Church. My greatest desire it to lead souls to Christ. I pray; “that every soul I come in contact with may feel Your presence in my soul… Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine, so to shine as to be a light to others… It will be You, shining on others through me.” – St. John Henry Newman

I am excited not only to go on mission, but to share in this mission with you. I am so blessed by the generosity and prayers of all of those who support me and could not do this alone.
