We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“So deeply do we care for you that we are determined to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you have become very dear to us.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:8
I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as the team director at the United States Coast Guard Academy. I am very excited to serve my team which includes my fiancée Jane and our two teammates who are also engaged, Andrew and Isabella!
During my freshman year of college, I was blessed with the opportunity to play baseball at Emory and Henry College. During my first few weeks on campus, a group of amazing Christian men on my team took me under their wing and began introducing Jesus Christ into my life. During this time, I made amazing strides in my faith and in embracing community. However, after my freshman year I stopped playing baseball and transferred back home to Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University. During this time, I stopped seeking out community and unfortunately fell back into not living my faith in action.
By the grace of God, I eventually met a FOCUS missionary and her family at a restaurant I was working at and that moment drastically changed my life. There is nothing in life I want to do more than introduce the person of Jesus Christ to college students like FOCUS missionaries did to me while I was in college. While I only played baseball for one year in college, I am super excited to work with Varsity Catholic, our program that specializes in athlete outreach. Most importantly, I hope to invite athletes to rest in their identities as sons of God the Father and know how loved they are.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to battle alongside with me in this ministry. If you are interested in joining me on mission, I would love to set up an appointment with you! I can be reached at [email protected].

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
