I will be serving as a first year missionary at the University of Utah (GO UTES!) I am so excited to walk with students, share the heart of Christ with those who need it most, and serve on this amazing campus!

My faith has always been important to me, but I failed to live in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for much of my young adult life. When I got to the University of Arizona, I, like many college students, found myself placing my identity in what I did rather than who I became.

Everything changed when I felt the Lord place the words new wine on my heart during adoration. What did these words mean? The answer came to me in scripture: “You have given me a greater joy in my heart than they have with an abundance of corn and new wine” — Psalm 4:7

Seeking to further my joy of the Lord, I had the opportunity to attend a 10-week formational program called FOCUS Summer Projects (twice!), where for the first time, I entered into a life of prayer and a relationship with Jesus and experienced authentic friendship and community. My experience at summer projects and the witness of the missionaries and friends I encountered set my heart on fire!

Returning to campus after both formational summers, I was fortunate enough to be on a FOCUS expansion campus, meaning that our Newman Center welcomed five FOCUS missionaries on campus for the first time! Here, I witnessed what the missionaries did day in and day out, and their pursuit for lost souls. Seeing this zeal and beginning to feel Christ’s longing to make His heart known, I felt the Lord calling me to be his missionary and I could not be more excited to share the joy and friendship I have found in Jesus with my campus!

I can’t do this alone… that is why I am honored to have people like YOU on my support team, helping bear fruit in the mission through your spiritual and financial support. Because of YOU, I am able to reach so many souls for Christ. Thank you for your yes! Some go by giving, and others give by going.
