Where I serve

The Lord has called me to serve at Missouri Science & Technology, Go Miners! I am eager to encounter the students in Rolla and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for this year! This is my team, (Left to Right) Lizzie, Allison, Therese, Tori, Brennan, and Me.

My Story

My story starts like many of yours, I grew up a cradle catholic, always going to church on Sunday with my family, but never diving into what was being taught. I went to college, joined Greek life, and lived a stereotypical life that I thought would fulfill me, but I was searching for all the wrong things.

Then everything changed when a couple of my friends invited me to a FOCUS event. This invitation introduced me to Jesus and radically changed my life.

For the first time in my life, I had a personal relationship with Jesus, and I knew He wanted me close to Him! To make room for Him, I knew I had to start living differently. I made Jesus the center of my life, and it has been transformed ever since!

Now it’s my turn to share this love and live radically with others on campus!

In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, He spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ example to find the best method of reaching the world.

Jesus invites you and me to live as His disciples daily and to bring others to “come and see” (John 1:39) the new life He offers. He wants His children to come home to Him! A great tragedy today is that few hear and accept His invitation.

Because Jesus is so great, He sends His children to proclaim His invitation and “make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19) so that all peoples can come home to Him. Will you join me so that together we can share this great news?
