We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello!! My name’s Sabrina. I’m a FOCUS missionary.
“Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love.”
–St Therese of Lisieux
I am proudly serving in the sunshine state of Florida at the University of Florida! Go Gators!!
Meet the team: Left to right, Nik, Alex and Siena (Baby) Ruby, Me, Gabi Aceves, and David and Casey Pernia!
Going to college I knew I wanted to grow in my faith. I went into the Catholic Student Center at Texas State University and signed up for a bible study. At the time I thought I was signing up to make friends, I had no idea the impact this little yes would have on my life. Through friendship, scripture and prayer Jesus began to reveal the deepest desires of my heart.
In college my life was transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. He tells us to drop everything and follow Him and that is what I intend to do. I want to allow the Lord to transform my life, to take full control of the people He wants me to be around. If I have the opportunity to give another college student a relationship with Christ that’s far more than I could ever ask for.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
