We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you.” -St. JPII
The Lord has called me to serve college students at the University of Louisville in Kentucky…go Cardinals!
God placed the desire to be His missionary on my heart back in 2016 when I was still in high school. He cultivated this desire throughout my college years & opened up the doors that brought me here. He has been so good to me & looking back, I am just in awe of His generous heart & guidance in my life. I would love to share more of my story with you!
A few sentences could not possibly capture the beautiful ways that God has been faithful, generous, & merciful to me throughout my life. I hope to be able to share the longer version with you sometime. Here’s a little overview…but for real, let’s grab coffee! (:
I grew up in Southern California & was raised in a wonderful Catholic family. By the time I left to go to school at the University of Dallas, I was excited for new adventures & to make lasting friendships, but I quickly found myself experiencing loneliness as I struggled to find community. Little by little I began to project this loneliness onto my relationship with God, & I questioned where He was in all of this & why He allowed me to suffer in that way. I am so filled with gratitude from the deep roots that my family & community fostered in me to stay close to God & the sacraments, even if I didn’t really feel like I had a deep, personal relationship with Him at that time.
One of the best things about going to UD was getting to be there with my older sister Sophia. Not only has she taught me so much about friendship, but she also encouraged me to get involved in a FOCUS Bible study when they came to UD. And because she helped me take that first step, I met the missionaries & dove into reading the Bible & seeing how it applied to my life for the first time. I always loved God, but in the next couple of years, I truly learned how to have a friendship with Him.
My faith life & understanding of mission grew tremendously when I had the wonderful opportunity to serve at Camp Wojtyla the summer of ‘22. I was so touched by the camp staff & the summer staff’s devotion, faithfulness, & zeal for mission. I truly learned so much about self-gift & joyful sacrifice… & I look back on that summer as a time when I got to experience what Jesus said in John 10:10:
“A thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy; I came so that they might have life and have it to the full.”
Simply put, I want to be a missionary because Jesus has transformed my life through Divine Intimacy with Him… & I know He is just getting started. College students in particular are all looking for something… & I want to walk with them so that they can also come to know that a life with Christ is the answer to the deepest longings of their heart.
When I said yes to serving the Lord through FOCUS, I also made the decision to rely on the spiritual & financial support of mission partners. We were all made for community & relationship, which is why I am so excited to partner with others in order to accomplish this mission. Truly, it would not be possible without the generosity, prayers, & trust from those who are on mission with me. God desires to take each of us on the most wonderful adventure of our entire lives, & everyone should hear the truth of the Gospel…that we are deeply loved by God, Who made us for so much more.
Please consider joining this mission spiritually and/or financially. If you are interested in learning more, please contact me with either my email or phone number: [email protected] or (951) 206-5701.
I would love to schedule a time to meet with you & talk about going on mission together. It would be an honor to have you join me.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
