We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky!
A few short years ago, I arrived at the University of Arkansas, unsure of who I was and the man I wanted to be. I quickly fell away from the faith I was raised on and began looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places – accomplishments, approval from peers, Greek life involvement, and the college party culture. On the outside, I wanted it to appear that I was living the life, but on the inside I felt a deep emptiness. This is when a FOCUS missionary stepped into my life. He invited me to a Bible study with other men in my circles, began personally investing in me, called me to a more abundant way of life, and ultimately embodied the love and friendship of Jesus Christ. After accepting the truth of my identity as a beloved child of God and reorienting my actions to abide in His love, my life radically changed for the better. Late in my college career, I turned away from the engineering job I had planned on and accepted the call to serve the Lord with FOCUS. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to devote myself to sharing the love and joy I have received with college students who desperately need it.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. It’s truly how Christ lived his mission, how he called his Apostles to live, and how Paul tells us as Christian workers to live. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you face-to-face!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
