As I continue to be on mission, I will be returning to Minnesota State University–Mankato! Except this year I have a whole new team!

Meet Nathan, Michael, Jeremy, Jenna, and Carrie. I’m excited to show them the ropes at MSU!

Last year was a year of transition and learning how to live the missionary lifestyle. Now that I’m settled in, I’m looking forward to applying what I have learned and taking the relationships I’ve built to truly strive on mission this year. I’m still on fire and full of zeal to continue to spread God’s message and share in the life of Christ with the students in Mankato.

I became a FOCUS missionary because of my desire to become like Christ. I didn’t think I would ever desire something like that until I, myself was invested in by a FOCUS missionary where I went to college at University of Cincinnati. As I met up with this FOCUS missionary every week on campus it gave me a safe space to ask questions and talk about my faith with someone who related to me, that I felt safe around. As I was being invested in, the Lord slowly softened my heart and opened my eyes to see through His lens and get to know His church. I’m committed to still growing and to seeing more like Christ every day and I desire that for every student and every mission partner I encounter.

By giving to a FOCUS missionary, you are actively participating in God’s call to make missionary disciples of all nations. As I invest in my students and walk with them to build their understanding of their faith and virtuous habits, I also invest in you as you invest in me. When you give to FOCUS you are giving your hard earnings for the sake of the Kingdom. It is used to bring fruitful lives to me, my students, and YOU, to live a life full of Christ.
