We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I serve at Southern Methodist University! Pony Up!
At the beginning of my freshman year, I viewed LSU at the promised land where I would find my people and my place that I deeply longed for all my life. I joined a sorority and sought community through the typical lifestyle one thinks of when they think of Greek life on a college campus. I found myself surrounded by so many people, yet feeling totally isolated. The Father granted a huge grace in January of my freshman year when I came in contact with a FOCUS missionary who pursued me in friendship and welcomed me into her Bible study that semester. Through her friendship, I was met by the tender embrace of Jesus, and since then my life has never been the same. I was awakened to the life of discipleship with Jesus, and have been able to invest in the women in my sorority through Bible studies and discipleship.
My time in college was a continuous recognition and rest in the truth that Jesus does not tire in loving and caring for me. In fact, the more we allow Jesus to choose us in love, the more satisfied and fulfilled we become! It is a joy to be able to walk with women towards Jesus and to help their hearts become renewed in His love and mercy! Four years of being a missionary, and this is still excites me everyday!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
