We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next.” – John Henry Newman
God has called me to serve my third year as a missionary at the wonderful University of Arkansas! Woo Pig! In the town of Fayetteville, Arkansas, the college life is alive and abundant with beautiful trees and hills that point you back up to God’s creative nature. Arkansas not only has beautiful nature in all four seasons, but also fun SEC culture, an active Greek life community, and curious chipmunks everywhere.
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to show the overflowing goodness of Jesus Christ Who satisfies our deepest desires that this world can never give. Up until part of college, I had lived a double life: being the good Catholic girl and being whatever people around me wanted me to be. By the time I was a sophomore in college, the Lord split the two lives and told me neither one was my identity, my identity was to be His and fully loved by Him. My life has been transformed since first encountering Christ in high school and allowing Him to captivate me by His love and winning me over more and more where now I am truly radically saying yes to His calling to show college students this very intimate relationship the Lord wants to have with each one of them.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
