Hi! My name is Sarah Rock. I’m a FOCUS Missionary.

Where I serve

I am so excited to be serving as the Program Director for FOCUS’ Digital Outreach Department! I am a product of this program during my time at St. Louis University. The Digital Outreach Team has the privilege of being the first FOCUS missionaries to serve on numerous campuses across the country and even internationally. We believe Digital Outreach plays a strategic role in allowing us to reach souls for Christ by training students, chaplains, campus ministers, and parishioners to be effective missionaries at their universities, workplaces, and beyond.

My Story

Both of us (Nick and Sarah) were raised in Catholic homes in Nebraska. Having not grasped the gospel growing up, we were first evangelized by an Evangelical group in high school. In his first year at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Nick encountered a FOCUS missionary named Luke. Through Luke’s investment in discipling Nick, Nick grew greatly in his Catholic faith, falling in love with the Eucharist especially. At Saint Louis University, I continued to grow in relationship with Jesus through a bible study on campus and through the investment of my Digital Outreach missionary. It was during our dating relationship that I was first introduced to the beauty of knowing Jesus through the sacraments. We are on mission as a family because our lives were changed through the investment of missionaries on our college campuses and out of a desire to show others the truth, beauty, and goodness available to them through a relationship with Jesus and His Church.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, as a full-time missionary, I made the decision to partner spiritually and financially with others to make this mission possible. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me in many ways up to this point.
