We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey everyone! Glad you’re here–excited for you to learn what it means be a part of the mission of FOCUS!
The Recruitment Team, at the Denver Support Center!
My team works to hire men and women to become FOCUS Missionaries! We visit different campuses, host recruitment weekends to help hundreds of students discern, and follow up with students one-on-one. Our ultimate goal is to help them say “yes” to God’s call in their life. We develop relationships with applicants throughout the year and run our recruitment weekends to inspire them to surrender all of their plans to the Lord, and to consider become a missionary. I truly believe that the men and women who are formed as missionaries in FOCUS are changing the world, and truly becoming our generations next saints. It is an honor and a joy to serve on this team!
My life had been transformed by Jesus while I was in college at Missouri State University, when I realized that God wanted a personal relationship and friendship with me. This changed my college experience, especially in my sorority, and I believe, changed the course of the rest of my life. For these past six years God has called me to accompany other college women at the University of Oregon for two years, and the University of Kansas for the three years. I am now entering into my second year (7 total) with the FOCUS Recruitment Team at the Denver Support Center, in Denver, CO!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely only on the spiritual and financial support of others to help me be able to join this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who are journeying with me as I serve with FOCUS. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will reach out to you. I’d be honored to share this vision with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
