We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! We are Sean and Kellie Clennan and we serve as missionaries at the University of Georgia. Jesus changed our lives in college forever and now we want the whole world to know about him. It would be a privilege to have you join our family in this adventure!
“The love of husband and wife is the force that welds society together” – St. John Chryostom
God has called our family to spread the Gospel to college students. We currently live in Athens, Georgia where Sean serves as the Team Director and Kellie works as a full time campus missionary. We lead weekly bible studies and discipleship groups where we teach how to put into practice the habits of living out the Gospel. We also love having the opportunity to open our home to both students and our team.
Both of our lives were deeply transformed by Jesus during our time at college.
Sean’s Story – As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. I remember when I was a sophomore in college, I was really struggling with what to put my identity in. Would it be in who I was as a student? A fraternity brother? A good sibling? Right around that time, one of my friends from the Newman center asked me if I wanted to strive to live a life that was centered around Christ, and he showed me where I could truly find my identity as a son of God. Since then, I have seen God slowly working in my life to heal me and to draw me in closer to himself, and now I want to give the same opportunity to those around me.

Kellie’s story – This is my fourth year as a FOCUS missionary, the past three years I was serving at the University of Kansas, and the Lord has now led me to Athens, GA! My life was changed during my undergrad at Colorado State University when I came to understand the Father’s love for me and the way He persistently pursues our hearts. As a missionary, it is my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ and help others find the peace and joy I have experienced in the faith. St. John Paul II said, “Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure” and I can attest to this truth. I can’t wait to see what adventures God has in store at the University of Georgia.
I hope to meet you- don’t be a stranger! 303-880-1123
Our family has said yes to following Jesus Christ in a radical way by being full time missionaries. Part of this is that our family relies on the spiritual and financial support of generous mission partners in order for us to provide for our family and serve God. So far in our four years as missionaries, support raising has been one of the most tangible ways God has shown his faithfulness to us. If this mission or our family inspires you in any way, we want to talk to you! Please reach out to us personally either by phone 620-322-1065 or through email at s[email protected]. It would be a privilege to have you partner with us in this life-changing mission!
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
