We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
God has called me to serve the Gators of the University of Florida! You’ll often find me at the St. Augustine Catholic Student Center, playing pickup sports, or sharing in food and high-fives with the awesome people around campus. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus has changed my life — and I’d love to share it with you!
As a missionary, my number one goal is to form authentic relationships with students that are grounded in Jesus Christ and His example of ministry. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I strongly desire to bring the joy and love of the Gospel to others. By taking on humanity, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, and He loved each and every one of us so much that He would allow himself to suffer to redeem us. In addition to this beautiful and profound sacrificial love, Jesus spent an abundance of His public ministry investing deeply into a small group of people who went on to change the world with the message of love and saving grace. I cannot claim to be a brilliant teacher or miracle worker, but I look to the example of Jesus to lay down my life for others and invest deeply into genuine friendships, in the hopes of continuing to change the world. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on the college campus and I’m always pumped to make new friends!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me serve college campuses openly and generously. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I prepare to serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please email me at [email protected] or give me a call at (585) 354-2935! I would love to set up a meeting so I can share my story and my mission with you more deeply.
