I will be serving as a second year missionary at Clemson University! I am excited to spread the Gospel to students all across campus by leading bible studies, praying with students, and sharing my journey with Christ and walking with the students through their faith journey. 

I was born and raised in Tupelo, MS, and attended the University of Mississippi before transferring to Boston College. I grew up Catholic and was very involved at my home parish growing up and had a strong relationship with Christ. However, when I went to Ole Miss, I began to fall away from the faith and no longer received the sacraments. After my third semester, I no longer knew the man that I was and decided to take a semester off from college to grow in my faith and restore my relationship with Christ. I knew that I was called to do more! At home, I began to receive the sacraments and knew that I wanted to serve the poor in charity and truth, so I decided to live in Peru for two months spreading the Gospel. It was there that I fell in love with serving the poor and truly encountered Jesus’ Love!

During this encounter with Christ through mission, I decided to transfer to a Catholic university, Boston College. It was there where I started to become extremely involved with FOCUS: attending bible studies and walking with my missionary on campus.  After graduating from Boston College, I felt a strong calling to serve the poor in charity and truth, and decided to join the missions team, so I can continue to serve on mission. I believe that it is of utmost importance to serve the poor because it embodies the meaning of charity and love for others that Jesus preaches in the Gospels.

FOCUS has made a life-changing impact on my life and has helped me to encounter Jesus in different ways and allow me to strengthen my relationship with Jesus. Your generosity will allow me to continue this mission and spread the love of Jesus. It will help students at Clemson to have a deeper encounter and continue through faith journey throughout their college career!
