We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a loud noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, tendons were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘The Lord God says this: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, so that they come to life.” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
-Ezekiel 37:7-10
God has called me to serve in the great state of Kansas at Kansas State University! Go Cats! This is my First year on mission. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky(Go Cats again). You can find me around the Greek students on campus, the gym, or playing sports anywhere. Jesus is king now and forever!
I grew up in Western Kentucky and attended Catholic school up until I went to college. This set up a good foundation for where I am now in my faith. But I was never taught how to pray or how to foster my personal relationship with God. I spent my first two years of college falling deeply into party culture. I was miserable and lacked meaning in my life. It wasn’t until I had a radical encounter with Jesus Christ in the form of the EUCHARIST that I knew this was one true faith. Jesus revealed to me that I am a beloved son of God. God in the person of Jesus Christ took on our humanity, our sinfulness, our suffering and opened up the gates of heaven out of pure love for us. This realization sparked a change within my heart and I was filled with a deep desire to tell other. To breath life into those who have not heard the Gospel.
Jesus invested in twelve men very deeply and these twelve men went on to form the foundation of the Church we know today. He told them to “Go and make disciples of all nations.” This is the great commission. Just as Jesus invested in the twelve apostles, I want to walk with other men showing them that they are also chosen as beloved sons and forming them into the future leaders of the Church.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
