We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
After four years on campus, I now serve at FOCUS’s headquarters in Denver. At headquarters, I will be working with our human resources team doing staff care. I get to be a missionary to the missionaries! I am excited to see what Our Lord has in store for me!
Previously I served at the University of Mary Washington, James Madison University, and MIT.
Susie is running to God with anyone who falls into stride with her and those of us who have are infinitely better for it. – Briana, MIT Alumna
In 2010 I graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. It was during my senior year of college at George Mason that I began to really see the brokenness felt by many college students. On a mission trip to Jamaica, I began to feel God’s call to be a “missionary of love” to His broken people. After graduation, I thought that I could carry out this call through teaching. I accepted a position teaching special education, but I did not find fulfillment in that job. I have found peace and joy working for FOCUS. There is no joy like the joy that can be found in sharing the Gospel! At this point in my life I could not picture doing anything else!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me over the past four years. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
