We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
After a wonderful 8 years on campus, I am now serving as a missionary in a different capacity. In my 9th year I’ve joined the Mission Development team, and my official title is a Philanthropy Engagement Officer. I’m back in Missouri working remotely and being a missionary to donors and fundraising for FOCUS nationally.
I didn’t come from a religious family, so growing up I didn’t know who God was or that He wanted a relationship with me. In college, I joined a sorority and that quickly became my identity. My senior year a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go to a bible study she was in and I did. It turns out this bible study was led by a FOCUS missionary who befriended me in a way that I hadn’t experienced before – she truly cared about me and authentically wanted to love me and share life with me. This was the beginning of my journey into a relationship with Jesus Christ. This journey continued – I got confirmed into the Catholic Church, I took part in the sacraments, and developed true, authentic friendships with people. My life has entirely changed – my identity is in Christ, and I know what it means to have true joy and true purpose. I want every person to have this incredible opportunity to change their lives and to live the way we have been created to live.
I would love your prayers and support as I am serving on mission. When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please email me at [email protected] and let me know of the best way to reach you, and we can schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you. I want to thank you in advance for your generosity, I assure you the reward is much greater for you and the beautiful souls I will encounter than it is for me.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
