We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hey! I’m Theresia, and I’m serving as a FOCUS missionary in the International Region!
Follow my journey on mission here, in MY MONTHLY NEWSLETTER !
I am currently serving at the University of Krems/St. Pölten in my native Austria (which is just a little bit further away from my other native USA ;))! It’s my joy and honor to be serving and growing together with our students here, in my third year on staff with FOCUS in Europe.
Growing up in a Catholic Austrian-American household, I have known Jesus my whole life, and had a strong relationship with Him growing up. However, towards the end of high school and beginning of college I went through a time when I really questioned my faith and fell away from this relationship. Towards the end of this time, I met a FOCUS missionary whose example and unconditionally loving friendship helped me find my way back to my most important relationship, with the Love of my eternal life.
Now, as a missionary myself, my greatest desire is to lead students to Christ in this same way. My life has been transformed by God’s Love, and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel: He loves YOU, personally, unconditionally, and perfectly, and wants an everlasting relationship with you.
When I answered the Lord’s invitation to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and complete financial support of Mission Partners to help me through this mission. “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21), and I’ve been blessed with the beautiful hearts of the most amazing people who are journeying with me as I serve on campus.
If you are interested in partnering with me on my mission, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will gladly set up a meeting with you! I’d be honored to share this mission for souls with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
