Hey! My name’s Tyler. I’m a FOCUS missionary.

Where I serve

God has called me to serve college students on the campus of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. UWO is a campus of 15,000 students living both on and just-off campus, with many students commuting from around the area. The university has a great athletic department with football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and track/field being some of the best in all of Division-III. You can normally find my team and I with students hiking, kayaking, playing sand volleyball, cheering on our students in their sport, or hanging around campus to give our Catholic community the time to relax in between their busy schedules. We offer Bible Studies and the opportunity for discipleship for students interested in growing in deeper formation of their faith!

My Story

As a missionary, my greatest desire is to grow deeper in relationship with Jesus so that I may share Him greater with all students I encounter. It was not always this way however. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world through the Little Way of Evangelization. I’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls I’ve encountered on campus and working with these wonderful people has provided me with more joy than I could have ever expected.
