I am extremely blessed to have grown up in a loving, Catholic family in which we went to Mass every Sunday and were involved in a lively parish.  When I first began college at the University of Minnesota, I was sure that my faith was strong enough, so I allowed it to go on the backburner.  As I began to get involved in the Newman Center on campus, however, I realized that the people around me were really alive; I wanted more of what they had, so I dove headfirst into this community.  During my junior and senior years, I was able to live with Catholic women who were really alive in their faith, and I started to learn from them what it looked like to really love the Lord.  During these years, I started attending daily Mass, Adoration, confession, and consistent daily prayer.  The Eucharist, scripture, and the love of His people changed my heart and set it on fire for Him!

It is through this love of the Lord and His people that I want to help bring everyone to Him, especially the students on Mizzou’s campus.  I desire deeply to help students to see the immense truth, beauty, and goodness that is our God.

My ‘yes’ to join FOCUS also included a ‘yes’ to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I would love to have you join this mission!
