God has invited me to serve at the University of Delaware in Newark. I am super excited to be one of the first male FOCUS missionaries to serve at UD! I look forward to the ways in which the Love of Jesus will transform this campus!

I am blessed to have been raised Catholic, but I did not encounter Christ in a deep and personal way until my time at UVA. Through the struggles of my first two years of college, especially the chaos and isolation of covid-19, Jesus was able to remind me of what is truly important. I came to realize that all fulfilment in life comes from knowing, loving, and serving God, and through His grace I strove to make Him the center of my life. Through the Catholic Men’s community at UVA as well as the FOCUS missionaries I found my place in His Church and made lifelong friends.

I decided to join FOCUS through a desire to share the healing Love of Jesus to other college men. Praying with Luke 5:1-11, the call of Simon Peter, was able to help me answer God’s call for mission despite feelings of insecurity and unworthiness. Jesus wants us all to fulfill His great commission, and through FOCUS I pray that I may do so!

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners.
