This upcoming year I will be the Team Director at Towson University, just north of Baltimore. I am extremely blessed to be back in my home state, continuing to live out the gift of mission that Jesus has entrusted to me.

Please pray for our team, our chaplain Father Mike, and the ongoing conversion of souls at Towson!

The last two years at Seton Hall were met with many beautiful encounters with our Lord for myself, my team, and our students. Around 30 students entered into the Catholic Church from our campus ministry center, and 3 graduates answered the prompting of the Holy Spirit to become FOCUS missionaries themselves.I cannot wait to see what Jesus has in store for these men!

I was born and raised into a Catholic household, going to mass every Sunday, and going to Catholic School from 1st through 8th grade. I had a very difficult upbringing that caused me to place Christ at a distance. I did not know how much he loved me, and that he desired to be in relationship with me. At this time I did not desire to know Jesus at all, and rejected Him internally as I actively sought out the pleasures of this world. It wasn’t until the end of my high school career where I started to feel the Holy Spirit break down the doors to my hardened heart, as I felt the deepest form of love I have ever encountered though the love of Jesus in the gift of his presence in the Eucharist. Weeping at the sight of Him in Adoration, there became a deep yearning to know and love Jesus, and to encounter his transformative grace.

As my college career started to take form, I began to spend more time at the Catholic Student Center (CSC) at the University of Maryland (Go Terps!), as a FOCUS missionary visited me at work and invited me to get involved in Bible Study. The Lord during this time, more than blessed me with many amazing male role models who deeply inspired me, and pushed me to take my faith even more seriously than I was before. The Word became a place of deep encounter, as Jesus began to guide my heart bit by bit to be made more perfectly into his image and likeness. (He wants this for you too!) As I took on more responsibility at the CSC, I began to feel a deep pull on my heart every time I stepped into the chapel for my holy hour. The Lord wanted more from me. He wanted me to give myself fully to him in such a major way; to let go of my own earthly desires and follow him. As the idea of joining FOCUS became a likely possibility, I felt a massive sense of peace, as it felt that the Lord has prepared my heart, mind and soul to not just bring others to Christ, but to bring Christ to others; to meet students where they are, create authentic friendships, and let them know they are loved. I am excited, and blessed to continue living out the life that Christ called me to.

From personal experience, and encounters I have had back home in Maryland, the world needs Christ now, more than ever. There is a deep interior loneliness that plagues college campuses all across America, as many students (like myself at one point) have deep desires to be loved that can only be fulfilled by Christ. As a FOCUS missionary, I have been given a responsibility to invite others on mission in a way that builds His Kingdom. I will be relying on financial support during my time with FOCUS, and I am more than excited to meet you as a mission partner!

Jesus not only desires the conversion and transformation of souls on college campuses, but also in your own heart, as well as your own loved ones. Fundraising allows me to give more of myself to you through the gift of prayer, to entrust your prayer intentions to our Lord, and our Blessed Mother.
