We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I have the great privilege of serving students at Winona State University.
Although I was brought up Catholic, never missing a Sunday Mass, it wasn’t until I came to the University of Wisconsin for college that I discovered the truth, the beauty, and the goodness of the faith in which I had been raised. There, I came to know the answers to the deepest questions that I had wrestled with all throughout my life: Who am I? What is my purpose? How am I to live? What will happen when I die? What is the emptiness inside that I cannot seem to fill, no matter what I try? What will make me happy?
The singular answer to all these questions, which burn deep in every human heart: the person of Jesus Christ. Knowing him, serving him, loving him. Most importantly, being loved by him.
As my relationship with the Lord deepened, so did my desire to share Jesus’ Good News with others in my life. The Good News is this:
You have a loving creator who made your heart for him, and though you have repeatedly rejected him, he pursues you relentlessly, sacrificing himself for your sake. And further, he wants to offer you a life that abounds with joy, with peace; a life in which you become more like Jesus. For your part, what you must do to receive this gift is make Jesus the center of your life.
And so the Lord led me to become a FOCUS missionary in Winona, Minnesota, where I get to share that message every day.
I cannot do this work without your loving support. Thank you so much for allowing me to continue serving the students I love with whatever you are able to give.
God bless you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
