We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am serving with FOCUS for my fifth year!
I have always known the Lord, but never had a deep relationship with Him. Being raised in a strong Catholic family, living out my faith was always important to me, but never a priority and it certainly was not the center of my life. It was not until I experienced the beauty of divine intimacy by being pushed by good and authentic friends that I came to know how vital having a relationship with the Lord is. It is everything! My desire is to lead others to Christ the way I was through authentic friendship. My encounter with the Lord in college has changed everything about my life, and I desire to share that with other men going through the same experience.
It has been such a blessing to be on mission with FOCUS. I served my first two years at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. It was such a redemptive experience for me to go out onto the college campus and devote my time and efforts to pursuing others and facilitating an encounter with Christ, rather than my own pleasure. I am grateful that the Lord put such remarkable men in my path to not only teach, but to learn from while at the Mount.
While it is difficult to say goodbye to all the relationships I formed there, I knew this is what the Lord was asking. I often think of Saint Paul during his missionary journey. He would arrive at a city, preaching the Gospel by word, sharing life, and creating deep friendships, yet still have to leave those he ministered to because the Lord was calling him somewhere else (Acts 20: 17-37). I spent my next year at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored for you to join me on this mission.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
