We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20
I will be serving at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as I finish my undergrad this fall semester. After I graduate, I will be sent to a new campus for the spring semester where I will serve as a full-time missionary. Check out the team I will be serving with!
Growing up, I was raised Catholic, but when I got to high school I started ignoring my faith life and focused more on the sports I was playing and doing what I thought was fun. I built my life around sports, my family, and my friends. After graduating high school and going off to college, I found that the things I had built my life around were no longer with me. My friends and family were back in my hometown and the teams I was once a part of were now gone. There was a hole in my life and I was searching for a deeper purpose. Feeling lost, I turned to the “college life” trying to find a sense of belonging, but could not find it.
During my sophomore year of college, I was invited to join a Bible Study. Through this study, I met some people who were living differently from the other people I encountered on campus. They were filled with joy and had this drive to live virtuously that grabbed my attention. Soon enough, I was invited to start coming back to Sunday Mass and I eventually met a FOCUS Missionary. They shared the Gospel with me and invited me to place Jesus at the center of my life. I attended my first SEEK conference and had a profound encounter with Jesus in adoration. He had lit a fire in my heart and that is where He called me by name. A year later, after lots of direction and prayer, I started my first Bible study and received the Sacrament of Confirmation, having a FOCUS Missionary as my confirmation sponsor. Now, I get to grow closer to Christ each day through prayer and the Sacraments. He has shown me that it is not about what you do, but who you become. My hope is to walk with Christ and allow Him to work in the lives of the students around me.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. If you feel the Lord inviting you to join me on this mission. Please let me know how I can schedule an appointment with you. I am extremely honored to share this essential mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
