This year I will be on Team Boston serving at many different campuses including UMass Boston, Emmanuel College, Gordon College, and Brandeis University. I will be leading bible studies, discipleship, and on-campus outreach events along side of their Catholic Centers.

I grew up in Bloomsburg, a small college town in Pennsylvania, in an incredible family as the oldest of three. As I ventured into college in 2020, I headed to the University of Pittsburgh in the midst of the pandemic where I encountered Christ in a profound way. Thanks to the sacraments at the Pittsburgh Oratory and the persistence of the FOCUS missionaries at Pitt, I was drawn to the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and my whole life changed. I began to see my identity as a beloved daughter so much clearer in light of Our Father’s loving gaze. By the grace of God, I entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil mass in 2023.

I got to experience first-hand the impact of encountering Christ in college, so when FOCUS became an option, I applied as soon as I could! I am convicted that deepening my relationship with Jesus has been the biggest gift of my time in college that will last for eternity. FOCUS gives me the opportunity to be on mission with college students and to invest deeply in their lives as a witness to the Gospel. I will be able to spread the love of Christ by the simple act of authentic friendship with students who ache for real relationship off of their screens.
