When I was a sophomore in college at the University of Texas at Austin I was overwhelmed and searching for purpose. I felt lost and confused why the college experience and chasing academic achievement left me feeling so empty.

But everything changed when I was invited to a FOCUS Conference through a Bible study in my sorority chapter. I decided I had tried everything else and by the grace of God agreed to go.

This conference changed my life.

I encountered Jesus Christ personally for the first time in Eucharistic Adoration with 20,000 college students.

I saw other practicing Catholic college students filled with joy and the love of Christ. They knew who they were and what their purpose was because they knew the Lord.

And I wanted that.

I came back to UT inspired and on fire for my faith and through Discipleship was accompanied and encouraged to start my own Bible study in my sorority chapter and call my own disciples to go on mission.
