We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
As a young man, I wanna strive to follow Christ’s Great Commission by serving college students and feeding the Gospel to the college communities that helped me grow to the man God has joyfully made me to be.
“… do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” – John 21:16
I currently serve at Boise State University as a part-time missionary and full-time student! I have been blessed to be able to serve my campus in a unique way as a December-Grad and work with students both Spiritually through Discipleship and practically through attending class and witnessing where most full-time missionaries cannot/struggle to go. I am so excited to work with Bronco Catholic and beyond when I receive my new placement this December and transfer in January.
I grew up in a loving, Catholic home but never thought much about my faith until I was ready to select a college. My family had moved to Idaho 2 years prior from San Diego, California and I desperately wanted to go back home. However, I knew that there was something at the Bronco Catholic Newman Center that I needed but I didn’t know what. So I accepted my Boise State University offer and jumped into the unknown.
I very quickly found my faith as the foundation of my life when I got to college. After a rough adjustment period during freshman year I found that I wanted to be more involved, not just in the Newman Center itself by taking over as Choir Director, but by leading others in Bible Study and striving to create a space where others felt welcome and free to pursue Christ.
The summer between my Sophomore and Junior year I felt a tug by the Lord to “feed [His] lambs” (John 21:16) but I did not know how. I began to search for different outlets via discernment and career opportunities but nothing brought peace. That was, until October when I was given the opportunity to discern becoming a FOCUS missionary and helping other college students meet Christ in the environment I struggled to adjust to in order to call home.
The choice was undeniable and the homily at the Denver Interview weekend posed the question “who will feed the lambs?” I know that this was made for me and that the Lord has called me to aid in the fight for souls on a college campus somewhere in the country.
By saying yes to the fight for souls, I have been called to step into a role that requires both financial and spiritual support from mission partners. As Mother Teresa said, “Some give by going, and some go by giving. Without both, the mission does not exist.”
I need your help to fight for souls and to bring the Gospel to these students. Will you join me?

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
