We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and are convinced that you are the Holy One of God.”
John 6:68
The Lord has called me to serve in Monterrey, Mexico at the University of Monterrey (UDEM).
At the beginning of my time in college I began to struggle with a serious anxiety disorder. It took a toll on my academics, my relationships and my faith. Unable to function or move forward, I became a dead man walking.
In the midst of this, I was continually invited to turn to Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. What seemed like a small commitment to daily prayer turned out to be one of the most impactful decisions I would make. Jesus Christ, present in the Eucharist, in daily communion, and in every single person who was supporting me, was bringing me back to life! No longer did I live in dread but was given back the joy that once characterized me. No longer was I weighed down by anxiety but could breathe and face the challenges life threw at me. I was fully alive.
In a culture of death, I believe everyone deserves to experience the life-giving grace of God. As a missionary, I have the joy of living life to the fullest and sharing Christ’s victory over death with those who need it most.
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I’d be honored to share this mission with you.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
