I serve as Philanthropy Engagement Officer remotely while we live in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Riley used to serve for our Donor Communications team, but recently left to stay at home and raise our beautiful son, George.

Our Story

My life has been transformed by encountering Christ Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring the joy I have found to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. This same thing happened to me when I was a freshman in college at the University of Alabama. I dove deeply into the sin pervasive on college campuses and in ‘party’ culture.

However, a good and virtuous friend of mine invested deeply in friendship with me and helped facilitate an encounter with the Lord through inviting me on a FOCUS mission trip. After that, I got involved in a FOCUS bible study and learned the habits of a faithful Christian disciple.

Because of this, I also met and fell in love with Riley, who was also involved with FOCUS and Bama Catholic.

Your generosity and care helped make me the man I am today, through FOCUS missionaries.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help us through this mission. Riley and I have been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with us as we served on campus, in Donor Communications (Riley), and Philanthropy Engagement (Max)!
