Where I serve

God has called me to serve college students as the Team Director at the University of Montana! Go Griz! I’ve been given the unique opportunity to lead my team as we bring the love of Jesus to students in Missoula, MT. I have a pretty cool story about how Jesus changed my life to bring me here — I think you should hear it!

My Story

In my sophomore year of college, Jesus sent me a friend. This man invited me into his life in a radical way, introduced me to Jesus, and challenged me to grow in virtue, faith, and love.

For the first time in my life, I knew a personal relationship with Jesus was possible and I knew He wanted me close to Him! I was so excited! However, I had no clue where to start. Thankfully, a FOCUS missionary walked beside me and taught me how to open my heart to the transformative love of Jesus. The Lord showed me that in order to make room for Him, I had to live differently. So, I made Jesus the Lord of my life – I let Him call the shots, and He has transformed me ever since!

Now it’s my turn to share this love and live radically with others on campus, to love my neighbor as God loves me.

In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to imitate the best method of reaching the world – deep investment in a few, who in turn invest in a few.

Jesus invites you and me to live as His disciples and to bring others to “come and see” (John 1:39) the new life He offers. He wants His children to come home to Him! A great tragedy today is that few hear and accept His invitation.

Because He is so great, He sends His children to proclaim His invitation and “make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19) so that all peoples can come home to Him. Will you join me so that together we can share this great news?
