Not Just Growth. Leadership.

BOSCO takes young men who know they’re called to more and forms them into leaders of action – men who live with clarity, freedom, and purpose.

BECOME THE MAN YOU USED TO ONLY LOOK UP TO

IF YOU THINK IT’S NOT FOR YOU, IT PROBABLY IS.

We are the Bosco Project. We exist because the world, the Church, and our campuses need more than good intentions. They need men who are healed, formed, and ready to be sent. We are the only department in FOCUS uniquely designed to take recent graduates and young men who feel unready — the doubters, the hesitant, the ones who think this path isn’t for them — and form them into leaders who live with clarity, freedom, and conviction.

NOT ABOUT PAUSING LIFE. ABOUT PREPARING FOR IT.

The Bosco Project accompanies young men in the most decisive years after graduation. We create households of formation where men grow in virtue, freedom, and mission through mentorship, prayer, and brotherhood. Our formators don’t just talk about leadership; they model it — walking with participants through healing, accountability, and growth.

This isn’t a pause button on life. It’s an accelerator: the only Catholic formation program that launches recently graduated men on the fast track to sanctity and prepares them to lead in their vocations, parishes, and communities.

St. John Bosco

The Bosco Project is named after St. John Bosco who dedicated his priesthood in the late 19th century to working with young men who were orphaned by society in northern Italy.

St. John Bosco opened numerous homes called oratories for young men to grow in their faith, virtue, and learn skills that would help them become holy, mature, men able to discern their vocations.

Over 3,000 men identified a personal relationship with St. John Bosco as a major influence in their call to the priesthood.

“Sanctity was in the air you breathed. You did not notice its presence so much as its absence the moment you left.”

OUR MISSION

Most young men graduate with faith but without formation. They don’t yet understand what real mission demands — the freedom to face what holds them back and the clarity to live it out. Too often, they settle for drifting into a career path, chasing comfort, or stepping into ministry without the strength to sustain it.

That’s where Bosco comes in. We are the only program that gives recent grads the mentorship, healing, and brotherhood they need to grow into leaders of action. The Bosco Project isn’t a second option — it’s the launchpad. After their time with Bosco, men don’t just feel supported. They’re transformed, equipped, and ready to lead for life.

If you think it’s not for you, it probably is.

OUR HOMES

We have homes in Denver, CO, Crete, NE, and Naperville, IL. They are a place for men to grow in virtue and sanctity while living a common life of prayer, study, shared meals and work.

THE HARDEST YES IS THE ONE THAT CHANGES YOU.

Saying yes may feel costly, even humbling — but that’s why it matters. It’s the choice that takes hesitation and turns it into conviction, shaping the habits, freedom, and clarity that last far beyond these years.
