Go tigers! 🙂 The Lord has called me to serve at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas! What a gift it is to encounter college students and walk alongside them as they experience the love, hope, and joy found in a personal relationship with Christ. Just as He has done in my own life, I can’t wait to see how God continuously pursues and transforms the hearts of students at FHSU!

I grew up as a cradle Catholic attending mass with my family on Sundays and praying with them before meals. My faith was important to me during my high school years, but it was definitely more hidden and private from the life I was actually living. By God’s grace, I went off to college desiring to grow in my relationship with the Lord and was led to the Newman Center at NDSU where I experienced joy-filled bible studies, discipleship, and authentic friendship.

Leaving college, my faith was a much bigger part of my life, but I had my sights set on graduating and beginning my teaching career. Over a year later, I was sitting in an empty church when suddenly FOCUS came up in prayer. My first thought was, “What the heck God? Why is this coming up now?” I was already out of college and had the big girl job I envisioned for myself. However, as I continued spending intentional time with the Lord, He gently led my mind back to FOCUS. Eventually, He brought me to the point of surrendering everything, and I’m so thankful He did. God completely transformed my heart and has shown me how much better His ways truly are. Now as a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead college students to an intimate relationship with the Lord while keeping Him at the very center of their lives!

When I answered the call the join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. I’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
