I am currently serving my eighth year as a missionary. I served for 5 years as a missionary on campus at the University of Colorado. I now serve on the recruitment team to help with the hiring of our new missionaries.  Seven summers ago when I found out I was being sent to Colorado I was very excited but I had no idea the incredible blessings God had in store for me here.   

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During my time at UNL, through several women I met playing softball on campus, I encountered the personal love Christ has for me. These women began spending one-on-one time with me, showing me the joy of living as an authentic Catholic. Prior to meeting these women in college I had recognized an emptiness and longing in my heart. It wasn’t until I met them that I realized Jesus was the answer to this longing. Soon I began sharing what I had been given with the people that God put in my life. Recognizing that there are many other college students out there who, like me, are trying to fill an emptiness and longing in their heart, I felt the Lord asking me to serve as a full-time missionary with FOCUS. As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. My life has been transformed by Jesus and I want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. I’ve been constantly amazed by the incredible students I’ve encountered on campus.

When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to make this mission possible. I’ve been blessed with amazing people who have journeyed with me as I serve on campus.
