We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
My name is Annabel, and I’m a FOCUS missionary!
You have turned my mourning into dancing.Psalm 30:11
I’m headed back to Philly this year to serve at Temple University! Go Owls!
Here are my teammates Kevin, Lina, and Mike!
After leading Confirmation retreats throughout high school with some incredible people, I was looking for a similar community coming into college. I knew there was something special in the relationships I had made through my church, I just did not yet know it was Jesus. From the start of my freshman year at Drexel University I was involved in a FOCUS bible study and made incredible friends at our campus Newman Center. Throughout college, I made small “yes”es to Jesus and grew closer to Him and His church.
During my junior year at Drexel, I attended a FOCUS retreat that changed everything. I had a powerful encounter with the love of the Lord and knew I was being called to follow Him closely and have an intimate relationship with Jesus. I had a dream job in photography in Chicago, incredible friends and opportunities, but I knew none of it would matter if I didn’t pursue my faith very intentionally.
I am honored to be able to walk with college students in their own journey toward a loving and intimate relationship with Christ, at a time in their life when the world tries so desperately to distract them from it!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. This has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects of being a missionary.
If you are interested in partnering with me on this mission, please reach out to me! I would love to share more with you about my day-to-day and how you can help! You can reach me at 781-707-6592 or [email protected].

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
