We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello! I’m Anthony, a first-year missionary in the Bosco Freedom Project!
“For still the vision awaits its time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie. If it seem slow, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay”.
– Habakkuk 2:3
As a cradle Catholic, I experienced the common struggle of practice without understanding. The spiritual apathy of our modern world swayed me as a result. The world promised the freedom to discern and act according to my desires, freedom from idols and limits. Yet, I made idols of my academics, reputation, and family. The Lord has drawn me from desolation and aimlessness to be in relationship with Him again. The FOCUS missionaries at UCLA were instrumental in my reversion to the Catholic faith and living inspirations for my enlistment to God’s will.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
