We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I’ve known about Jesus my whole life. But for too long, my faith was built on three ideas:
It was just what we did as a family…
Going to church was an obligation…
Being a Christian simply meant being a “better person.”
Going through the motions eventually left me burnt out. I had no idea that a joyful, personal relationship with Jesus was even possible until I got to college.
As a freshman at the University of Toledo, I was approached by a guy I had never met after Sunday Mass, and he invited me to a Bible study.
He was a Mechanical Engineering student, just like me, so naturally, I looked up to him.
When I showed up, I realized that Bible study was full of upperclassmen engineering students. But the most shocking part was that they actually wanted to be there.
No one was telling them they had to go. They weren’t filling a requirement.
They were there because they deeply desired to know Jesus.
Those guys showed me that Jesus desired a relationship with me simply because He loved me. From that point on, Jesus continually revealed Himself to me through His Church, His Word, and His people.
I thought my career path was set, but God was quietly working in my heart, preparing me to say YES to becoming a full-time FOCUS missionary.
I said yes because I want to be that person who tells a student that Jesus desires them.
I want to be that person who wakes up the burnt-out, lukewarm Catholic who is just going through the motions… just as I was.
I want to be that person who challenges young men to rise up, claim their identity as Sons of God, and step into the greatness they were created for.
I want to build and defend the exact same kind of brotherhood that changed the trajectory of my life.
With FOCUS I will meet students where they are and call them higher. I will show them they were made for something more. That the Savior of this world wants to know them personally, and He longs for them to follow Him.
“You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” – St. Augustine of Hippo
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely completely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners. I am fundraising my entire salary so I can be radically available to the students on campus.
By joining my team, you will hold a critical role in this work. Not only will students’ lives be transformed through your generosity, but my sincere hope is that you will also be drawn deeper into your own relationship with God as we journey together.
I would be honored to share this mission with you. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you, or call/text me directly at (419)-302-8760 so we can schedule an appointment!

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.

We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
