We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Howdy! Our name’s are Brandon and Cate Holy.
“When a husband and wife are united in marriage they no longer seem like something earthly, but rather like the image of God himself.” – St. John Chrysostom
God has called us to serve college students at Colorado State University! You’ll typically find us hanging out at sporting events, coffee shops, the Catholic Center, on the pickleball court or the golf course, and Jesus has changed our lives in such a beautiful way and we can’t help but share it!
As missionaries, our greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. Our lives have been transformed by Jesus and we want nothing more than to bring this joy to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. During our time at Texas A&M Cate and brandon met in 2021 as friends just in the same friend group. We were able to encounter authentic friendship that was centered around Christ during this time. As soon as we experienced that we knew a relationship with Jesus is what our heart desired. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. We look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. We’ve been constantly amazed by the different souls we’ve been able to meet and walk with and encounter on campus.
When we answered the call to join FOCUS we made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. We’ve been blessed with the most amazing people who have journeyed with us as we serve on campus. They are our backbone so that we can be the hands and feet on campus. If you are interested in partnering with us, please let us know of the best way to reach you and we can schedule an appointment. We would be honored to share this mission with you.
We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
