We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
John 1:16
“And from his fullness have we all received, grace upon grace”
The Lord has called me to serve for a second year at the University of Texas- Hook ‘Em! I will be a Greek missionary, ministering primarily to the women in sororities on campus. The women in Greek life played a big role in leading me to Jesus Christ so I am thrilled to have this opportunity!
Team Texas 2024-2025 (Will, Erin, Claire, Ana, Me, Ben)
I graduated from Georgia Tech in May 2022. During my first year at Georgia Tech, an older girl in my sorority who was involved with FOCUS invited me to join her at SEEK over Christmas break. As a lost freshman looking for friends, identity, and fulfillment, I agreed (although mainly out of captivation of her). In Adoration at the conference, I encountered the life-changing love of Jesus Christ and knew that He had created me for more than the life I was currently living.
Following this encounter and Jesus’s personal invitation for me to follow Him, I grew in relationship with Him as various FOCUS Missionaries and students taught me how to pray, about the Sacraments, Church teaching, and invited me into community that placed relationship with God at the center.
While I was involved with FOCUS for my four undergraduate years, I never truly considered joining staff as a missionary after graduating. Thus, upon graduating, I worked as a Software Engineer on the Digital Banking Web team at Truist. Through those nine months working, the Lord continued to help me grow in relationship with Him and heal me in incredible ways. Through His pursuit of my heart, I became aware of my deep desire within to share the Gospel with others. Specifically, the desire to do so with FOCUS, the ministry which introduced me to Jesus and formed me so well.
It is the greatest joy to accompany others as they come to know Christ, and I pray that you want to join in me in that joy!
When I answered the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. Thank you for considering joining me in the mission of sharing the Gospel with students. Your support, both financial and prayerful, will impact the lives of countless students who are seeking to understand who they are and what they believe at this pivotal time in their lives. Through your generosity, I will be able to encounter these students with Truth, the Truth that is Jesus Christ Himself. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment.

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
