We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
Hello, my name is chase – I am a FOCUS Missionary.
“The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our LORD endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8
I am currently at the University of Iowa where I split time as a missionary and a student. Upon Graduation in December, I will be off to another campus where I will serve full time. Here is my team! (Left to Right) Grace, Natalie, Caitlin, Kobe, Me, Colin, Matt, and Evan. Go Hawks!
I entered college without much of a relationship with Christ and with a surface level knowledge of the faith. I did not have an identity of who I was or who I wanted to be, but I had a want for something more and yearned for a greater purpose. A FOCUS Missionary met me at this place and walked with me. I learned how to pray, to understand the teachings of Christ, and an understanding that I am a son of God with a purpose to get to heaven. I have found incredible peace, joy, and purpose in this relationship with Christ. Now, I hope to help others to encounter the lord and his gifts through my work as a sharer of the gospel.
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”
– Mark 16:15
Come on Mission with Me!
When I said yes to the call to join FOCUS, I made the decision to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me through this mission. Just like the apostles of Christ, I will be trusting in God and relying on the financial and spiritual support of people in my community. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know of the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I would be honored to share my mission with you.
I would love to connect and tell you more about my mission – feel free to call me at 563-639-8223 or email me at [email protected]

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
