Hello! My name is Cruz Keefner. I serve as a FOCUS campus missionary alongside my fiancée, Kaley.

My fiancée and I have the privilege of sharing the Gospel as a campus missionary at Colorado State this year!

My Story

Entering a new environment where I knew nobody, I came to Iowa State seeking my identity. I placed my identity in popularity and worldly success. This left me feeling lost and confused about the world, my relationships, and myself. Being raised Catholic, I knew the only stable thing in my life was my relationship with God. I encountered a student leading a FOCUS Bible Study and knew I was at home. He invited me to attend SEEK23, a Catholic conference led by FOCUS for college-aged students. From that week in St. Louis, I dedicated myself to vigorously pursuing an intimate relationship with Christ, rightly placing my identity as a Son of God. God has continuously transformed me into the Son, Brother, and soon-to-be Husband that I was created to be! I’m excited to share the fullness of Christ’s love with students on campus and show them the Goodness that God desires them to be!
