We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
I am a first-year missionary serving at Mississippi State University! I plan to reach out to students desperately in need of knowing who they are and whose they are.
I grew up Catholic but never really took my faith seriously. When I got into college I joined a fraternity and quickly my faith began to wane. Thankfully, some missionaries met me and eventually I came to accept the Gospel and develop a relationship with our Lord. I bounced around a few different faith organizations and eventually, found my way to the Catholic Center and Focus. Through that, I was able to grow in a ton of ways and live with other missionaries. With them, I learned what it meant to live like a man and sacrifice for others. Now as a missionary myself, I hope to continue to give of myself to a new team, new students, and a new community. But most importantly reach lost souls who are placing their identity in everything except in God.
College is one of the most impactful times in people’s lives. It’s a time when for the first time, many students start to have to make decisions for themselves. Often, young people fall away from their faith, seeking the pleasures and temptations of the world. I desire to reach those who have tried everything to make them happy but still feel empty. But I need your help to do that! We are all called to give of our many gifts and talents. Just as the eyes help the hands and feet, so we are one body in Christ, called to serve in different ways. When I agreed to be a Focus missionary I agreed to rely on the spiritual and financial support of mission partners to help me along my journey. I’ve been able to meet and partner with tons of great people like yourself, that I would have otherwise never known. If you would like to join us on mission and become a partner in serving to build Christ’s kingdom on the college campus, please reach out! I’d be honored to be on mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
