We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Pray as though everything depended on God. Work as though everything depended on you.”
Saint Augustine
I currently serve at Central Connecticut State University!
My team from left to right: EJ, Elena, me, and Joe
I grew up in a Catholic family, but prayer was more of a habitual practice than a relationship with God. I did all the Catholic things: Steubenville Conferences, youth group, choir and it was good, but I didn’t let those things permanently transform me until senior year of high school. One day I was reflecting on the previous year, unhappy with the woman I was turning into. High school me felt like I had hit rock bottom, so I made an act of complete surrender and said, “God take me I’m yours!” I made a complete transformation in my social life and my extracurricular activities. I made the decision to attend Franciscan University after getting my Associate’s Degree at community college. Since freshman year of college I have been leading bible studies joyfully walking with women from all backgrounds as they grow their relationship with our Lord.
“What if I said ‘yes’?” That’s the question I asked myself when I browsed the FOCUS website this past Spring. Of course, I had never been in a position where I’ve had to raise my salary before. “People will say no,” “we don’t live in a giving culture.” What if they said yes? I believe that God has called me to become a FOCUS missionary and I fully trust that He will provide me with all that I need to get me to campus this Fall; and that includes missionary partners like YOU! Join me on mission as I enliven the faith of college students by sharing the gospel. If you are interested, please reach out and I will schedule an appointment! I would love to share my mission with you!

By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
