Where I serve

I am a third year missionary serving at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas along with my teammates Kevin, Danielle, and Ben, where we’re encountering college students and sharing the life-giving and transformational message of the Gospel! 3S6A2365

My Story

Hi my name is Darlene LeSage! I was born and raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and later moved to the US to attend University of Miami, where I studied Finance and Marketing. Struggling to find my way my first few years of college, everything changed when I found Catholic community and FOCUS, and I started understanding my identity as beloved daughter of God.

Through the authentic friendships that were fostered in my community in Miami, I am continually inspired to listen and respond to the everyday call to be with God in prayer, sacraments, service, and fellowship.

Not only is Jesus transforming me through His love, but He’s also entrusting me with this mission and calling me to share with those in my community this life-giving message so that they may also encounter Truth, who is Love and Mercy Itself.
