Where I serve

I have been called on mission to Minnesota, specifically Bemidji State University! Having grown up in Wisconsin and attended college at the University of Northern Iowa, I can’t wait to continue my tour of the Midwest! I am beyond excited to begin to reach this new community. GO BEAVERS

My Story

As I was growing up, I had essentially abandoned any meaningful relationship with God by the time I reached high school. However, luckily for me, I had a small seed planted by a friend at our Newman Center ice cream social during welcome week my freshman year. (I’m still confused about why I was at a church event on a Monday night, but here we are). I decided to try Sunday masses again, and a few bible studies, but it wasn’t until early in my junior year when an amazing FOCUS Missionary decided to invest in me personally that I made Jesus the center of my life.

In my final 2 years, I channeled my newfound zeal for the Lord and poured it wherever I could. I reignited my passion for service projects, picked up spiritual reading, went on retreats, started bible studies, and so much more; I was hooked! Thankfully, I was presented with the opportunity to be a FOCUS missionary myself, and now get to introduce Truth into the lives of young college students. I was once lost but now I am found!
