We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”
-St. Catherine of Siena
As a cradle Catholic, I grew up receiving the sacraments, attending Mass on Sundays, and participating in youth groups. However, it wasn’t until I became involved with Campus Catholics at Georgia College that I truly encountered Christ in a deeply personal way. Over my four years at Georgia College & State University (GCSU), I came to understand what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and to appreciate the beauty and fullness of truth found in the Catholic faith. I was transformed by God’s grace during this time, as He revealed His love to me through intentional, Christ-centered friendships and the joy of living as His disciple.
During my junior year, I accepted an invitation from my missionaries to join them on a FOCUS mission trip to Costa Rica. It was there that I was convicted and set on fire for mission, beginning to trust that God could use me to bring others to Him. Since then, I’ve learned that God can work through anyone and anything to accomplish His will—I need only to surrender and let Him take care of the rest. Every person deserves to know God’s love for them. I strive each day to grow closer to Christ so that others may be inspired to do the same.
I graduated from GCSU with a B.S. degree in Special Education. My next step is to serve as a FOCUS missionary, helping others discover what they were made for — a relationship with Jesus Christ.
When I said ‘yes’ to Christ by accepting an offer with FOCUS, I also accepted the responsibility of fully fundraising my salary through the generosity of mission partners. It is because of people like you that I am able to serve where the Lord is leading me. If you are interested in joining me on mission by becoming part of my support team, or if you’d simply like to learn more, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I would love to get to know you and hear your story.

We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
