My Story

Arriving on Northwestern State’s Campus in the fall of 2020, I was eager to see who I would become. I was proposed the idea that I could be whatever version of myself I wanted. I got lost in the ways of this world. I was filling my deepest longing with cheap things. I was so empty, and I knew that something needed to change. I found beautiful and authentic community with the FOCUS missionaries at NSU. During my time in undergrad, I encountered the merciful heart of the Father! I would love to share more with you about how the mission of FOCUS changed my life, and how God is calling me to go and share His love with the poor in spirit, particularly college students!

When I answered the call to join the mission of FOCUS, I was invited to trust and rely on the generosity of God to support me spiritually and financially through mission partners. It is through the prayer and sacrifice of mission partners that I will be able to dedicate my life walking alongside and sharing the hope of the Gospel with college students!
