My Story

While I first began to live for God in a more radical way in my time at the University of Central Florida, the journey for me properly began years before my freshman year in 2021.

My family was heavily involved at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church near Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It was through my attendance at the parish’s school and my involvement in various parish ministries that I first learned about the Catholic faith. However, I was never aware of what it meant to truly live out my faith.

It wasn’t until the latter half of high school that God planted the seeds that allowed me to grow in my faithfulness as a Catholic. Through heavy involvement in my parish’s youth ministry, I was able to go to the conference that ultimately changed my life: Steubenville Florida 2021.

After an intense and emotional encounter with Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, I was heavily convicted to intentionally seek out Catholic community for when I went to college, and I found it in the Catholic Campus Ministry at UCF (CCM).

My 5 years with CCM opened the door to several opportunities to grow as a Catholic man through vibrant community, weekly events, and the St. Paul’s Outreach (SPO) missionaries. But the question you may be asking is “How did he become a missionary with FOCUS?”

God put the call to full-time mission on my heart in the summer of 2025. UCF does not have FOCUS missionaries, but I had become more aware of FOCUS after attending SEEK that year. God gave me many opportunities to learn about FOCUS and its ministry during my personal discernment process, and after months of learning and growing in relationship with students and missionaries from several FOCUS campuses, I knew the Lord was inviting me to say “yes” to this mission.

Your Impact

Simply put, God graciously gifted me this opportunity to lead more souls to Him as a FOCUS missionary, and just as there is something wonderful that God is preparing for me every day in this mission, He also has something wonderful prepared for those who are helping me make this mission possible.
