We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
“It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.”
-Mother Teresa
I serve at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Go Cats!
When I was a student at the University of South Carolina, I learned more in my time at the Catholic Newman center than any of my classes. The friendships I made there taught me what it meant to live a life filled with joy and purpose. They challenged me to live a more disciplined life and dive deeper into my relationship with Christ. This is where I found the root of my identity as the Beloved. This realization changed everything. Knowing that my identity was rooted in an infinitely loving God means nothing can shake me out of who I know I am.
Too many young women on campus don’t know the goodness within them and the great depths from which they are loved by Christ. I am excited to get the opportunity to share the great gifts I’ve been given with the women I interact with at UK.
When I said yes to the call to join FOCUS, I also said yes to rely on God to provide spiritual and financial support through the generosity of mission partners to get me to campus. They are the reason I can share the Gospel with college students who may be hearing it for the first time and walk with them as they find their place in life. If you are interested in partnering with me, please let me know the best way to reach you and I will schedule an appointment. I would be honored to share this mission with you! We encounter God in an intimate relationship through daily prayer, the sacraments and the Scriptures.
By building genuine friendships, we meet students on a deeper level.
We teach students how to share the gospel, who in turn teach other students how to pass it on.
